The spooky house
I can see the weather getting more scary as I saw the trees moving side to side.I could taste and smell burnt wood coming into my mouth. The gate was opening and closing and it was making terrible noises. I can see the dead old grass getting really old and old rusty cars. You can see the rats and spiders crawling everywhere inside the house.Inside the house was very dark and I was so shocked when I could see wheelchairs spinning around. Then I looked around I could hear spooky sounds so I got my bag and took out my torch. Then I looked around and I saw someone zooming past. Then I looked back around there was no one so I got my torch put it back in my bag and ran out of the house.

Netbook Reflection
WALT record what learning on our netbooks this year has been like, what we have enjoyed, what has been difficult, what has been interesting.
At the start of the year Room 6 was very lucky to get black, shiny, brand new netbooks! I felt very excited.
I have really liked what I have learned from my netbook. You can create your own google docs presentation. You can research new things on internet. We get to have our own blog, to share with the world.
Some small problems with our netbooks have been when the battery is low or when your internet connection doesn't work while you are doing your work.
It has been really interesting this term for us because it has changed they way we learn. We have done lots of things on our netbooks like learning about our energy topic, and doing projects and learning what makes electricity move.
It has been exciting using our netbooks this year for our learning!

Hydro-Power Explanation
WALT write an explanation of how a Hydropower station works
.

A hydro dam is an amazing structure that makes electricity from water!
Firstly you build a dam to block the river.Water then builds up the dam. This is called they reservoir.
It then goes through the intake then goes through penstock.
Then this this makes electricity, which is stored in the generator.
The water goes to the turbine and it spins very fast.
Then it makes electricity which is stored in the generator.
The electricity then travels through the power lines to houses and cities.
Hydropower is great because it is renewable.
